My fine art paintings and drawings, with details of commissions
My original paintings and drawings are detailed and take an age to create, so I offer A4 fine art prints of them which are more affordable.
Giclée prints are fine art gallery quality digital prints. They use archival quality pigment-based inks on archival quality paper. This process creates high-resolution, long-lasting and fade-resistant reproductions of original artworks.
Most of these prints are on Hahnemuhle German Etching fine art paper 310gsm which is softly textured, with a couple (Red Cat and Stevie Wonder) on Hahnemuhle Baryta fine art paper 325gsm which is shiny.
My A4 prints are currently £30 including delivery in the UK. Take a look at what I have here, click on the image to see the title and message me if you'd like to buy it.
(If something's out of stock I can order it in in a few days.)

If my work appeals and you are considering commissioning a painting or drawing of something/someone/somewhere that is special to you, do get in touch.
The colour vibe runs through many of my pictures, as it does through my other work. I usually limit my palette in each piece to 4 colours or fewer, which I find most impactful and intuitive. Of course I also create monochrome pieces, in pencil and paint.
As my painting and drawing style is very detailed I spend many hours on each piece.
Prices start from £160 for a black and white A5 pencil drawing of one animal/person, with A5 colour pencil drawings starting at £240.
A4 paintings (I don't usually paint anything smaller than A4) start at £400 for one animal/person and £600 for A3.
More than one subject in a single picture usually costs 50% more as there's more than one likeness to capture.
In terms of creating your artwork I would need a good quality source photo to work from (relatively high resolution, though a phone photo is usually fine). It is always helpful to have additional images to give me a better feel for my subject.
I normally work on paper but if you would prefer canvas let me know.
I usually ask for a month to complete the work, though may finish it sooner.
I require a 50% deposit before starting work, with 50% on completion. The deposit is refundable only if I do not complete your picture (highly unlikely). Within the agreed price you can request one round of edits if for some reason the artwork isn't what you were envisaging (again unlikely).
I appreciate that a commission is a substantial investment.
Do ask any questions you may have.
