What payment methods can I use?
Website orders can be paid for by PayPal or debit/credit card.
What packaging should I expect?
Packaging is usually described in the item’s listing.
Small jewellery items will usually be packaged in tissue paper in a small gauze pouch, and then in bubble wrap or a small box as appropriate for the amount of protection needed.
Larger jewellery items are packaged in a simple cardboard box, which is then wrapped in bubble wrap or a larger box as appropriate.
Wooden homewares are wrapped in tissue paper and then packaged in bubble wrap in a cardboard box for protection.
I reuse protective packaging wherever possible to be a bit kinder to the environment and save passing on unnecessary costs to customers.
What collection/delivery/postage arrangements to do you have?
Local collection/delivery – If you are local to Thornton Heath, near Croydon in south London, you are welcome to collect your order. I am also happy to hand-deliver to the CR7, CR0, SE25, SE19 and SE27 postcode areas, free of charge, regardless of order value. If you would like this option please let me know and we can arrange a mutually convenient time.
UK orders - I offer free P&P within mainland UK for orders of £10 and over. For orders under £10 there is a £4 P&P charge. So it might be worth your while to add an extra item to your shopping cart to qualify for free delivery in the UK.
Overseas – P&P costs are based on the order’s weight, including packaging. For orders up to 0.5kg there is a £5 delivery charge. For orders over 0.5kg there is a £20 delivery charge.
Postage times - I aim to post all orders within 2 days of purchase. I use Royal Mail second class tracked post in the UK, and Royal Mail tracked for overseas orders. Please let me know if you wish to make any special postage arrangements.
Delays - I cannot be held responsible for any delay to the delivery of your order once posted.
What about customs, VAT, handling and import taxes?
Buyers are responsible for any customs, handling, VAT and import taxes or fees that may apply, including to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
Will I be added to your mailing list?
Once you place an order you will be added to my mailing list for occasional updates. Just let me know if you wish to be removed from the list. I will not share your details with any third party.
Can I return an item?
I accept returns of items except those which are made to order. Please let me know within 48 hours of delivery if you wish to return an item, and return it within 14 days. Once I receive the item from you I will refund payment in full less any delivery charges (unless the item is faulty or incorrect) within 5 working days. Return delivery charges will be payable by you. Please make sure you get proof of postage when returning an item as, without this, if an item is lost, I will not be able to refund. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
What is the condition of your upcycled products?
As my upcycled wooden items are pre-owned and have history it is likely that their condition will reflect their age. I highlight any significant wear in the product description and/or photos, which aim to show the product as accurately as possible. I do not consider this ‘used’ condition as damaged or faulty. If after reading the listing you have any questions please let me know before purchasing. Once you order the product you agree to accept it as shown and described in the listing. I cannot be held responsible for any deterioration or damage through use after purchase.
